Family Dismisses Wrongful Death Lawsuit Filed for Fatal Crash

An Iowa family is dismissing the wrongful death lawsuit for a man who was killed while riding a motorcycle last spring.

The widow of David Crowe, Nancy, is dismissing the lawsuit against Stephanie Mercer, who was driving an SUV that struck David’s motorcycle, because her insurance has paid the liability claim.

Nancy is continuing her suit against Farm Bureau Property and Casualty Insurance to receive the difference between what she was paid and the costs she claims.
